TechConnect is excited to announce upcoming changes to its brand identity. Branding changes will align more closely with the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office (Chancellor’s Office) standards and will better reflect TechConnect’s efforts to partner with community colleges and serve as a key provider of technology and digital solutions.

Toward this aim, offerings will be unified under the TechConnect name:

  • TechConnect Zoom (CCC Confer/ConferZoom)
  • TechConnect Cloud (3C Media Solutions)
  • TechConnect OTC (will remain Online Teaching Conference)

While TechConnect’s look and product names are changing, the mission remains the same: to create, support and leverage technology to enhance student success and advance classrooms, institutions and the system.

Throughout the state, community colleges rely on TechConnect solutions to work more effectively and efficiently across distance and time. At Long Beach City College, faculty use TechConnect Zoom to schedule and hold private office hours and take student attendance. Administrators and staff at Merced College hold online trainings, meetings and presentations via TechConnect Zoom.

TechConnect’s solutions and services are available at no charge to all California community college students, faculty and staff, along with comprehensive training, technical support, and an online library of recorded webinars, step-by-step guides and best practices.

“For many years, TechConnect’s suite of solutions and services have supported California’s community colleges and met their evolving technology needs,” said Rico Bianchi, Director of TechConnect. “The latest marketing and communications efforts leverage our reputation for advancing community colleges and promoting student success. Upcoming branding and communications efforts will highlight the value, expertise and unique learning opportunities TechConnect provides educators as they explore new ways to teach in today’s digital world.”

The branding changes will include new collateral materials, a website and a bimonthly newsletter featuring user testimonials, information on upcoming webinars and events and news about TechConnect solutions and services. New collateral materials will be released in the coming months.

“Advances in technology are making it possible to connect with students and staff anytime and anywhere,” added Bianchi. “Our role at TechConnect is to help forge those connections and strengthen them at the community college level, making effective learning and collaboration possible beyond college walls.”
