Preparation is underway for the 2020 Online Teaching Conference (OTC) taking place June 17-19 at the Pasadena Convention Center. The 2020 conference will be TechConnect’s twentieth, and it is expected to be its largest yet with an estimated 1,000 registered participants.

OTC is the premier gathering of faculty, staff and administrators leading the way in developing innovative and effective online education. The intersegmental conference focuses on curriculum, pedagogy and technology that improves online learning and student success. Every year, educators from California community colleges gather at OTC to share best practices, pursue professional development opportunities and network with their peers.

“Online classes are increasingly becoming a major part of the student educational experience. It’s up to us to meet teaching and learning challenges and strive for a brighter future for all students,” said OTC 2019 keynote speaker Flower Darby. Darby is an eLearning professional with extensive experience in in-person, online and blended learning theory in instructional design and delivery.
