A wider variety of data sources now feed the California Community Colleges Data Warehouse, allowing college Researchers and the Chancellor’s Office access to data in support of institutional improvement and decision-making.

The Data Warehouse now includes data from CCCApply Standard and International applications, the California College Promise Grant application, Multiple Measures Placement Service, Chancellor’s Office Curriculum Inventory (COCI), Course Identification (C-ID) and — when approved by the college/district  — Canvas.

These data sets are all available through the CCC Data Warehouse Report Server or by direct connection.

At this time, Canvas data is available only through direct connection to the Data Warehouse to authorized users at district offices and single-college districts who are able to access the data using their own business intelligence tools.

Looking ahead, the Chancellor’s Office will be prioritizing a systemwide Enterprise Data  Strategy which will clarify how the data available in the CCC Data Warehouse fits into efforts to achieve the Vision for Success and ensure equitable outcomes for all students. The goal is for the Data Warehouse to help colleges and districts monitor data that will inform strategy development and evolution in service of the Vision for Success

Currently, access to the CCC Data Warehouse is established for Researchers at colleges or district offices authorized by the administrator overseeing Institutional Research and Effectiveness.

For information about accessing your college’s data, please contact the CCC Technology Center’s College Relationship Managers at crms@ccctechcenter.org.
